So the school year is at it’s end. Summer is here. It’s freaking hot. It’s as hot as hell out there. I finished my term paper today and about to present for a mere 2 minutes tomorrow. No sweat. But calculus readiness test? I’m about to drop dead and fail. But no worries, theres more tries right before school.

It’s really sad about the earthquake that happened in China. Even though I don’t think any of my relatives live around that area, it’s still sad. Especially for the parents of the children who were killed. They could only have one child and they mean a lot. It’s really sad. Because of that earthquake it probably knocked down and reduced the population a bit too. According to my paper and sources, China is the number one polluter with the US in second.

Finals…. ugh.

My speech was shitty, but I really didn’t care and I did stall for some time.

Seriously, the reason why i’m blogging and not sleeping is that tomorrow is my final speech and I’m gonna get it over with. I finished it and although I’m going to end up reading off my paper anyways, I don’t care anymore. I don’t care because I’m just going to get it over with. I hate speeches. Speeches… that are timed. I wouldn’t be as nervous if there wasn’t a time limit on it. It pisses me off. This time it’s 5 - 6 minutes. Horrible. I timed myself today and besides a couple random comments and laughing, it’s roughly 5 minutes. And my speech is about public transportation AKA “taking the bus”. No, really the real reason why i’m doing it on that is because i’m trying to persuade people to take our college school bus because Dmitry is a bus driver. As a joke, I’ve been saying in my practice speech “cash not accepted, slide your student ID card between the driver’s ass cheeks.” because riding our bus is free. But really i’m not going to say that. Would be amusing if I do.

I went to IKEA today and today was like the last day off for me because finals are coming up and the stress is starting to lighten on me. It’s also mother’s day, so happy mother’s day. But anyways, I went to IKEA and bought a new curtain for my room. I also bought a few organizers for my closet, a chair cushion for my very broken chair seat, and a lamp. My room is going through a total remodel kinda. A major clean up too. Probably after finals or I’ll do some stuff here and there.

And I also have one week to finish my environmental science term paper. I’m currently on page 2 out of 6.

Well it’s lunchtime and I’m on my laptop and theres not much to do as I already did some of the work load. I have a term paper due next Friday, the calculus readiness exam, and on Monday a presentation! I also have to put a portfolio together for my civil engineering drafting class. Needless to say, I threw some of the assignments away. I learned my lesson. First priority is presentation though. And after all that… finals! *dies*

Yesterday I got my Fall 2008 schedule. By the looks of it, it’s going to be hell. Pure… torture. Calculus and Chemistry…… *shudders* I’m also taking Russian and Government. Not so bad, but adds to the torture. I’ll also have to work at my mom’s shop that sells herbs… ehh. And next semester I’ll have school everyday. =(

Well yesterday besides slacking off a little bit when I should have been studying I went to walk Dora with Dmitry and my sister. I heard some meowing and went over to a garbage can on the side of a house and a little black fuzzy kitten was hiding there. Unfortunately, no one wanted it because it was the color black….. however later that evening we found his brother which was a turtle shell multi colored fuzzy kitten. I gave it to my cousin which lived behind the house on the corner. I hope they keep it. It had fleas, but they won’t be much of a problem in a while. Theres another white one, but I plan to find it today. I have a bit of time. Now Dmitry calls me the cat hero.
My sister has two people who are pending for the other two. =D Being a cat hero feels great.

I did my math midterm #3 today. It wasn’t that bad at all. If I’m lucky I got an 85%. The last problem was really difficult though…

My presentation went really well but this upcoming one is going to be a pain. It’s a persuasive one and I’m going to persuade people to ride our school bus or buses in general.
